Well, it is 2010. I am ready for the new year
and look forward to the possibilities. Christmas
was great! We spent Christmas in our new
home with Jenna's family. We were snowed in
for a couple of days, but we had a lot of fun
playing games and enjoying the fire in the
fireplace.

I was also shocked to
find out that my concert trailer that I haul all
my gear in was broken into, but praise the Lord,
nothing was taken. Whoever it was must have
been spooked in the middle of it-the locks were
broken open, and stuff strewn around but nothing
taken. Quite the exciting month. To the
right here you can click to
view our
pictures from the holidays. This
past year has been memorable. One of the
highlights was moving into our new
(new to us) home
and getting out of a rough area of town. Another
highlight was recording the new project "Unclouded
Day; Hymns and Classics" and I look forward to
this February when it goes out to hundreds of
radio stations all over the nation. Next month I
will let you all know which song to listen for on
all the Gospel Radio Stations.
I hope
all of you had time to reflect on the past year.
Whether it was easy for you or harder then you
could have ever imagined, be encouraged. You made
it! God is good. If you are like me and have a
tendency to worry every now and then, then I hope
you latch onto this for the coming year. Know that
God is in control. Even when you go through the
low valleys of 2010-God is still in
control...nothing takes Him by surprise and he
even has a plan (read Jeremiah 29:11). There is no
sense in us worrying about the problems of "what
if" when God is in control through the ups and
through the downs (read Luke 12:22-31). So accept
2010 with open arms, after all, God gave it to
you.
Happy New
Year,
Blake
